Meet the team.
I am a wife and the mother of three boys. My youngest is a freshly graduated first grader, and my oldest recently graduated Cashmere High School. We live on an orchard outside of Cashmere with our dog and two cats. I love to spend my days with my family cooking and baking together (my youngest wants to be a MasterChef Junior participant ), exploring our wonderful outdoors, and finding new adventures in our area with its abundant artisans, craftsmen, and creators. My joy and giftings are teaching, learning, and exploring with little ones. I love teaching this age, with their open minds and hearts filled with wonder. Your children will be guided through their first school experience in fun, engaging learning environments. We will explore and learn through social interaction, literacy, numbers, and science. We will expand minds through art and music, and we will reaffirm security in knowing they are loved by God.
One of my favorite things about working with children is sharing in their joy and wonder as they explore the world around them! I am all about learning through exploration and creating a classroom environment where children feel known and loved as they learn and grow. And, most importantly- I want them to know from a young age that they are loved by God and made with a purpose! I grew up in Hawaii and moved to Washington in 2014 to attend college. After graduating from Seattle Pacific University with a BA in Elementary Education, I felt the Lord calling me to move to Wenatchee. I’ve been here ever since! When I’m not teaching in the classroom or working with Sage Hills Kids, you can probably find me riding my horse Soleil, journaling or connecting with friends at Mela, or playing Spikeball at the park.
I believe that children learn best in a fun and enriching environment. I am a wife and mother of two wonderful children. The Wenatchee Valley has been my home for most of my life. One of my passions is teaching. I love to see children grow from just learning the alphabet to being able to read and write. Most importantly, I love being able to teach children that "love of learning" attitude that will carry with them beyond their school days. My love for teaching and helping children grow in Christ goes beyond the classroom, and when I am not in the classroom, you can find me involved in Sage Hills Kids.
