I want to be baptized!

During the 4 Easter Services, Sage Hills Kids will be kicking off the first of four Epic Weekends we are calling Color Splash Sundays. Make sure you join us for Easter Weekend to celebrate life change by taking home a caterpillar and you and your family can watch the caterpillar turn into a butterfly!  Then come back for tie-dye mania, a color run, and the color splash games!

The Feast The Fast and The Prayer

Day Twenty Four
Mar 29, 2017
0

Feast - Declare the Truth:

  • God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit (Romans 5:5)
  • We always thank God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, when we pray for you, because we have heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and of the love you have for all God’s people. (Colossians 1:3-4)
  • Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you. (Ephesians 4:32)

Fast - Renounce the Doubts:

  • They left our church to go to the other one, I don’t have to care about them.
  • I see people in the stores who used to go to our church.
  • So many people in the town are lost.

 Pray:

  • Lord, I forgive those who left our church and bless them to find new fellowship.
  • Help me to reflect kindness and acceptance to old and new people at church.
  • I bless the other Christ honoring churches and ministries throughout the area.

The Lord is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in love. Psalm 103:8

Feast - Declare the Truth:

  • “ ‘If you can’?” said Jesus. “Everything is possible for one who believes.”
  • Immediately the boy’s father exclaimed, “I do believe; help me overcome my unbelief!” (Mark 9:23-24)
  • He said to her, “Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace and be freed from your suffering.” (Mark 5:34)
  • "'Nevertheless, I will bring health and healing to it [Jerusalem]; I will heal my people and will let them enjoy abundant peace and security. (Jeremiah 33:6)

Fast - Renounce the Doubts:

  • It is easier to doubt than to believe in miracles.
  • Miracles don’t happen, they ended with the apostles.
  • This world is what we make of it.

Pray:

  • Lord, I want to understand how faith works, please guide me.
  • I pray for the many people I know who are sick or injured, would you please demonstrate how faith helps, and forgive me for doubting.
  • May health, healing, and peace come to my home, church, and city.
  • May Your kingdom come into my life as it is in heaven.

“Don’t be afraid; just believe.” Mark 5:36

Day Twenty Two

Feast - Declare the Truth:

  • Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. (Matthew 6:34)
  • Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. (Philippians 4:6)
  • “Martha, Martha,” the Lord answered, “you are worried and upset about many things… but Mary has chosen what is better… (Luke 10:41)
  • But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. (Matthew 6:33)

Fast - Renounce the Doubts:

  • But if I don’t worry I will lose control of the situation.
  • Someone has to worry about them. I’m a mom, I’m supposed to worry.
  • I don’t have the patience for peace in my heart.

Pray:

  • Father, forgive me for worrying and not trusting You to care for the details of my life.
  • Help me to find You quickly when I seek with all my heart.
  • I want to learn to pray from peace, not from worry and anxiety.

Grace and peace to you from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. 2 Thessalonians 1:2

Feast - Declare the Truth:

  • Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful.
  • Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned.
  • Forgive, and you will be forgiven.
  • Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. (Luke 6:36-38)

Fast - Renounce the Doubts:

  • I will forgive when they admit they hurt me.
  • I have a right to hate them after what they did to me.
  • It’s not right for me to hate them, but it would be better for everyone if they were run over by a truck.

Pray:

  • Lord, I release them from their debt to me without an apology, justice is for You to decide.
  • I choose mercy for myself by forgiving all who have offended me, even from my childhood, and even if they are gone.
  • Forgive me for judging and condemning people in my heart. I release them to You.
  • I choose Your freedom and peace.

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. John 14:27

Feast - Declare the Truth:

  • This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters. (1 John 3:16)
  • Worthy is the Lamb, who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and praise!”
  • Then I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and on the sea, and all that is in them, saying: “To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be praise and honor and glory and power, for ever and ever!” (Revelation 5:12-13)

Fast - Renounce the Doubts:

  • I don’t understand why Jesus had to die on the cross.
  • How can Jesus be God?
  • There is so much I don’t understand.

Pray:

  • Lord, thank You for laying down Your life for us.
  • Forgive me for being casual in my worship and taking You for granted.
  • I bow down before You because no other god could make that sacrifice for me.
  • I will praise You with the saints and angels. You alone are worthy of praise.

Be still and know that I am God. Psalm 46:10
